More About Me

My goals:

Buying or selleing real estate requires you to make a series of decisions. It is important for you to have an experienced, trusted partner to help you navigate  this process. You will feel at ease throughout the transaction, as I will be there for you, explaining the benefits and risks of each decision along the way.

I make it a point to be accessible to answer your questions. Whether you are a first time buyer, transitioning to NAS Whidbey, downsizing, needing more room for your growing family, or dealing with an estate after the loss of a family member, I will be available to guide you through your purchase or sale to make you as comfortable as possible during your transaction.

Community Involvement:

I believe the best way to ensure a great way of life is to get involved, and I am proud to be actively involved in our community. I am currently a Director of Oak Harbor Public Schools and take great pride in helping shape the future success of our public schools in Oak Harbor. I am a past President, board of directors member and Kiwanian of the Year of the Oak Harbor Kiwanis Club, and am a member of the board of directors with the Oak Harbor Youth Sailing organization. I am the founder and coach of Wildcat Sailing, Oak Harbor’s high school aged competitive sailing team, am a director of the Northwest Interscholastic Sailing Association (National high school sailing organization representing AK, WA, OR, ID and northern CA). I also spent one year on the City of Oak Harbor Planning Commission prior to being elected to the School Board.

Past Work Experience:

I spent two years working for Summit Assistance Dogs (an Anacortes based nonprofit agency that trains highly-skilled assistance dogs for people living with disabilities) as a development associate, I was blessed to meet some fantastic clients whose lives were profoundly improved because of our services, and it was an amazingly rewarding experience. I spent over ten years in the automotive sales and service industry including opening the Jerry Smith Kia store in Burlington, and managing Whidbey Auto Glass in Oak Harbor for seven years. I also spent four years working for the Washington State Parks Department at several local parks.

Proud to call Oak Harbor Home:

Being born and raised in Oak Harbor, and my continued connection to diverse roles of community service, gives me a great familiarity with the area. I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for the community with you and help you achieve your dreams!
